An exciting year for the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game gets even better! We have a few announcements and updates that we’d like to share as we wrap up the year, so let’s get into it!
Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game comes to Discord!
In case you missed it, you can now play the Marvel Multiverse RPG on any Discord server quickly, easily, and more importantly, for free. Start a voice channel, open the Roll20 Activity using the Rocket Ship button, and select the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game from the Explore Tab. You can launch right into our free starter adventure Enter: Hydra, or any of the other adventures that are available for purchase, including the recently released Deadpool Role-Plays the Marvel Universe!

How do you see Roll20's Discord Activity enhancing the experience for players of the Marvel Multiverse RPG?
The Roll20 Discord Activity makes it quick and simple to jump into a game. Your friends are already with you in Discord, and playing with them is as simple as clicking the Activity button. Everyone is connected in one place with character sheets, maps, and dice rolls — no other apps or programs are needed.
How does someone new to RPGs or gaming get started with Marvel Multiverse RPG on Roll20?
Roll20 provides everything you need, from pre-generated characters to intuitive digital tools that help guide you through gameplay and rules. There are tutorials and a supportive community to help you learn. The free Starter Adventure, Enter: Hydra, lets you explore without spending a dime.
Where might someone looking to start a campaign find a Narrator or other players?
If you’re looking for a Narrator or players, Discord communities are a great place to start. You can create and search for groups directly in the Roll20 server, or connect with Marvel fans in one of the other online communities. Connecting directly with other players, and jumping into a game, is the best way to start having fun and learning right away!
In addition to the game being available on Discord, X-Men Expansion and Deadpool Role-Plays the Marvel Universe are now both fully available for purchase on Roll20.
X-Men Expansion: Kindle Edition
In case you missed it, we’re pleased to announce that the Kindle Edition of the X-Men Expansion is now available on Amazon. You can purchase it here. We will also be releasing the Kindle version of the Spider-Verse Expansion on the same day as the release of the physical title.
New FAQ and Errata
Thank you again to all of the fans who continue to use the FAQ submission. We’ve been continuously monitoring the submission box for your questions. We’ve made an update to the FAQ and Errata to reflect some of the most common entries.
Some highlights include:
- Moving Energy Absorption, Lightning Actions, and the changes to Shield and Protection powers from Tony’s Workshop to the official rules.
- An update to the Enhanced Physique Trait.
- Changes to Telepathic Link and Network to have them function as intended.
- Further clarifications in the FAQ
