Can’t wait until September 7 to dive into the world of "Marvel’s Spider-Man? Good news, the official prequel novel to "Marvel’s Spider-Man" relays a thrilling adventure leading directly into the game narrative itself. 

In "Marvel’s Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover," readers catch up with Peter Parker working as a young scientist, still burdened by the responsibilities of his second career as Spider-Man. Things get more intense for Peter when Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin of Crime himself, returns to New York, establishing himself publicly as an altruistic entrepreneur and philanthropist. Spider-Man knows better, of course, but uncovering Fisk’s scheme is easier said than done, and even more trouble soon follows via a deadly doppelganger boasting both Spider-Man's suit and his abilities.
