Tara Strong and Skai Jackson To Voice Mary Jane Watson and Glory Grant on 'Marvel Rising: Initiation'

Marvel Animation confirmed two new additions to the cast of "Marvel Rising: Initiation," a series of animated shorts making its debut on Disney XD on August 13–prolific voice actress Tara Strong (Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, The Powerpuff Girls) and Disney Channel star Skai Jackson (Jessie, Bunk'd)! Strong and Jackson round out the rest of Gwen Stacy's (voiced by Dove Cameron) bandmates in the Emm-Jays.

Tara Strong will voice Mary Jane Watson, singer/songwriter/lead guitarist and one of Gwen Stacy’s bandmates in the Emm-Jays.

Skai Jackson will voice Gloria "Glory" Grant, Gwen Stacy’s best friend and the Emm-Jay's keyboard player.

"Marvel Rising: Initiation" centers on Ghost-Spider (voiced by Dove Cameron), on the run from authorities, who believe she is responsible for her best friend's murder. Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Quake and Patriot are all tasked with apprehending Ghost-Spider and bringing her in for questioning.
