Vulcann kidnapped Rosa's baby (Joaquim), believing that the baby would be a mutant messiah. Vulcann also accelerated Joaquim's growth, later calling him Darkson.
Darkson fought the X-Men (still under Vulcann's control), but was defeated later, becoming only a child in a adult body.
