The final chapter of the Sin-Eater storyline exploded in PETER PARKER, THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #110 when our hero clashed with Daredevil over the villain’s exposure as a cop. Later, Spidey aided golden age adventurer Dominic Fortune against the Shocker in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #10.

Wanna guess who won?
Peter Parker stood up to some neighborhood punks in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #11, and held off one of them trying to murder him in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #12. A department store Santa Claus proved no more of a challenge to our hero in SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #112 than the hoods that attacked Aunt May in her own home in SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #113.
When Peter decided to give up his costumed identity in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #275, the reappearance of the Hobgoblin goosed him back into action. After the dust cleared from their latest battle, Spidey stood back in horror in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #276 to see his foe unmasked as Peter’s old friend Flash Thompson. The questions and fallout from the event rained down upon all concerned in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #277.
The wallcrawler lashed out in fury against J. Jonah Jameson for an article he published in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #13, the Black Fox spurred on an idea for Peter to fence the gold notebook he possessed in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #14, and the money he made from the fence paid for his Aunt May’s boyfriend’s medical bills in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #15. Oh, and the real Hobgoblin tried to stop Jack from freeing Flash Thompson from prison.
A secret project under an Appalachian town confounded the webslinger in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #16, and he battled Magma not long after in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #17. To top it off, a shadowy figure shoved Peter in front of a subway car in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #18. Later, Spidey failed to prevent S.H.I.E.L.D. from neutralizing a kid with powers in SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #118, and the Black Cat exercised her claws on Sabretooth in SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #119.
J. Jonah Jameson sicced X-Factor on our hero in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #282, and the search for Flash Thompson turned up the Absorbing Man and Titania in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #283. Most likely completely exhausted, Peter prepared for a trip to England following a throwdown with the Humbug in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #19, and while in the United Kingdom, Spidey foiled an assassination attempt on the British prime minister in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #20, and a webby imposter in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #21.
Back home again, Peter found his apartment building infested with thugs and hoods in SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #120, and offered his unique point-of-view on a bank robbery in SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #121.
